Guest Services

Camp NRH Counselor
Join our Camp NRH counselor team! Our counselors are responsible for providing a safe and fun atmosphere for kids ages 6-12. Activities include field trips, gym games and swimming at the NRH Centre! Summer Camp NRH begins May 30th and runs through August 4th.
Lifeguards
Ages 16 and up. This position is responsible for the guarding of water in the indoor aquatics area and ensuring that all aquatic rules are followed in order to create a safe and fun experience for all NRH Centre members and guests. All training and certifications are provided.
Slide Attendants (Aquatics)
Ages 16 and up. Dispatch riders down the waterslide as well as the enforcement of rules to maintain safety in the aquatics area. Assist birthday parties with set up, tear down and hospitality during the party.
Swim Instructors
Like kids? Want to teach a life long skill? Training provided to teach Swim Lessons for ages 6 months to adult. Lessons offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 pm-7 pm. Mondays and Saturdays also available during specific times of the year.
Building Maintenance (Janitorial)
This position is responsible for sanitizing restrooms, collecting and removing trash and recyclable materials and maintaining the interior and exterior of facilities. Other duties include maintaining the Recreation Centre's various floors through daily, weekly and monthly required maintenance. Assist keeping inventory and ordering janitorial supplies. Perform routine repairs as necessary. This position does not provide direction to other employees.
Grand Hall Operations Attendant
The Operations Attendant works with a team lead by the Operations Lead to complete setup of tables, chairs, and audio/visual equipment for private events. During events the Operations Attendant will provide assistance to vendors and guests, and after event responsibilities will include cleaning of facility, cleaning and proper storage of equipment, and preparing rooms for next event. This position often requires late evening and weekend hours.
